About Me

Howdy! I'm Chris Abbey, a Chicago based visual artist and graphic designer. About 4 years ago I was gifted a sewing machine and the book "Pattern Making for Fashion Design" and ever since then I've been teaching myself to sew and draft patterns through various projects (Bicycle hats, sweatshirts, etc).

I started Bailey Textile as a way to continue my exploration into various tactile materials and construction methods while also being able to share my projects with my friends, family and anyone else vaguely interested.
